1978: Sebastian Krickx born in Schaerbeek, a small commune of Brussels in Belgium. Historically, he was attracted by nature. It began with an interest in ornithology at the age of 8 years, but soon his desire to understand everything and every experience led him to become interested in mammals and insects. There are countless days spent frolicking in the woods, meadows, dunes and the sea or to soak in the wastelands of colors and sounds of nature, nor the endless hours by train and walking on foot to get to discover hidden corners of our small country rich in fauna and flora. 1996: he always likes to spend more time in this nature, discover, understand, and live it. It is also the beginning of the photographic adventure, he is 18 and made his debut with an old silver bridge. This is the time of the first weapons with its joys and disappointments, but soon he bought his first SLR camera, the virus is here!
2005: conservation and environmental protection are now his profession. In the photography, he moved to digital SLR bartering his old cons a Canon 350D brand new. That change and ease of use compared to the work of Dias. Since that time

2009: objectives and some cases later ..... It was a year rich in which Sebastian Krickx focused on animals of mountains with three trips in the national park of Vanoise (Savoie).
2010: an eventful year for him with a first prize in a photo contest, three of his photographs are held in the prestigious final of the BBC, several images finalist in international competitions and an invitation as "guest of honor" 2011 ... Site
